Back in my college days at Clemson, I soared to new heights as a high jumper on the track and field team. While I may miss the competitive edge, I've found solace in staying active, particularly through workouts.
My interests in gadgets and tech naturally led me to explore the realm of cameras and photography. It all began with capturing precious moments of my daughter's early years with a "fancy camera" investment. Yes, I might fit the stereotype of a classic mom with a camera, but over my decade-long journey in photography, I've never stopped evolving and learning. I also love shooting weddings with my dear friend Cindy Fellows through our wedding photography business, Ameigh Fellows Media.

I take my camera everywhere I travel, love to shoot commercial work and products, and you'll often see me on the sidelines of my children's sporting events shooting action shots for them and their teammates. I share that work on a separate, dedicated Facebook page called Ameigh Photography Activities and Sports.
I also have a separate wedding business called Ameigh Fellows Media that I share with my business partner and good friend Cindy Fellows. We've been shooting weddings together now for over 8 years.

My family is everything to me. We are very close knit and love spending time together whether it's traveling, skiing, trips to the pool, or playing basketball in the driveway. The kids keep us on the go with their sports and activities. When not coaching, Doug and I just enjoy the ride and try our best to balance life around their busy schedules. My husband, Doug, is an awesome math and physics teacher.

I started skiing in my mid 20's while living in Virginia. Growing up in Tennessee, there weren't many skiing opportunities. I took to it pretty quickly and my second and third days of skiing were in Vail, Colorado! I quickly learned that becoming a great skier meant opportunities to see some of the most breathtaking landscapes on Earth if you're lucky enough to go to the right places. We had both of our kids on skis since they were two years old and they can now ski expert terrain. It's something our family really enjoys doing together and love when it means we get to travel to new places.

I was once a talented athlete in many sports, but collegiate track and field was the sport that won out for me at the end of my high school career. It was a choice between playing basketball and doing track in college. Growing up, all I wanted to do was play the sports I loved and have opportunities to compete. I was lucky to have parents and coaches that pushed me and gave me those opportunities.

I'm a little bit obsessed with my dog Avery, and let's face it, she's a little obsessed with me too. Let's just say the feeling is mutual. Avery is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Chessies are very active and athletic and we don't let her sit on the sidelines and let the kids have all fun in sports. She gets her chance to compete in the sport of Dock Diving in the summer months. She achieved Master level last summer with a jump of 22'8" and this year we hope to also compete in Air Retrieve events.
