Brintzenhofe In home Lifestyle Newborn Session
Lauren and Luke welcomed their baby girl and chose to document this special time in their lives with a lifestyle newborn session. We had a wonderful, relaxing time as we used spaces in their bedroom and nursery upstairs for some shots with their new baby. Of course, we had to let the dogs (their first babies) join in the fun at the end.

Shelby and Brian were rocking this new parent thing. Their sweet baby girl Hattie was a perfect baby model during our time together. Her furry brothers, two Corgis, got in on the action as well.

Your Harrisonburg newborn Photography
I often get asked what is my favorite genre to photograph. Well folks, this is it. When people look at my photographs, I want them not just to see something, but to feel something. When I shoot and edit newborn work, I feel something and I suppose that's why I like it so much. It reminds me of this crazy, magical, stressful, and chaotic time all wrapped into one. When you look back at your newborn photos, I want you to get that feeling. I reminder of this wonderful, yet fleeting time in your life. I want you to remember your baby's tiny fingers and toes, that sweet newborn smell, and that feeling of your newborn snuggled in your arms.
During my newborn sessions, baby leads that way. I can get great photos whether they're awake or asleep, so we roll with their schedule. Sessions usually last 1-2 hours, with plenty of time for breaks for feeding or changes. I use natural surroundings like beds, cribs, and couches and I never force babies into props or unnatural poses. You'll find my style to be authentic, focusing on the love and connection between family members.

Give me your due date, whether you'd like your session to be in-home or outdoors, other family members that will be photographed, including pets, interested in capturing shots of you nursing your baby, etc. All of these things will help me get to know you and get me excited about helping plan the session you've been dreaming of.
**It is best to get newborn sessions scheduled at least several weeks before your due date to ensure I can accommodate the ideal timeframe. However, if time slips by don't hesitate to reach out to check for availability .

Once we have established that we're a good match on style and budget, let's get you booked and put a date on my calendar. Sessions fill up quickly in peak season, so the sooner the better.
Once we decide on a date, we'll complete this step with a contract and a retainer. This is all done online and it is quick and easy!
I will send you a Client Guide on how to prepare for your session. It will include ideas on what to wear, location selection, and hair and makeup. I want to make sure I listen to all of your ideas and any concerns, so I know what to expect and how to guide you through your session.
3. ask me Anything
Time to relax and let me work my magic! I always aim to keep sessions light hearted and FUN! Some teens are naturals in front of the camera and some are not. I'm prepared for both types! With guidance, I'll make your Senior looks natural and comfortable. I'll find that natural smile, give you a good variety of poses and angles, and create some movement.
Before you know it, we'll be all done and you'll feel like we just hung out, had a great time, and wandered around a cool location for a while. I'll always be working to make your Senior look and feel their best!
4. let's shoot!
Within two weeks of your session, you should receive a gallery of your edited images. At that time, you will be able to select your collections and artwork. Selected digital images can be downloaded.
Don't forget to use your print credit! Once your final images are prepared, your gallery will be seamlessly integrated with my product store. This is where you can take advantage of your complimentary artwork credit included in my premium packages! You'll find a diverse array of products available, ranging from loose and framed prints to everyday and fine art albums. I like to keep this part simple. First, pay the Session Fee and you reserve your spot on my calendar exclusively for your session. This compensates me for my time and expertise, including consultation, planning, location selection, and editing.
After your photography session, you'll receive access to a digital proof gallery filled with your stunning portraits. From there, you can select and purchase a digital image collection featuring the images you love most. Each collection includes complimentary print credit, allowing you to order a high-quality print or product that speaks to you. Additionally, you’ll have the option to order heirloom-quality artwork and albums using the images from your chosen collection.
