I've had the privilege of working with the creators of the Unabridged Podcast for three years now. Each year we choose a new and different setting where we can get comfortable, relax and have a little fun while shooting some portraits. Downtown Harrisonburg provides some perfect spots to fit their vibe. Ashley, Sara, and Jen are all teachers who share their love of books with other teachers through Unabridged.

Close collaboration is going to be critically important in a personal branding session. First step is to fill out my contact form and let me get to know you a little. What type of business are you in? How would you like to use your photos? Are you interested in studio headshots, or something on location? What type of vibe do you want to portray?
All of these things are going to help me get to know you and get us on the path to the photos you will love!

Once we have established that we're a good match on session details and budget, let's get you booked and put a date on my calendar. Sessions fill up quickly, so the sooner the better.
Once we decide on a date, we'll complete this step with a contract and a retainer. This is all done online and it is quick and easy!
I will send you a Client Guide on how to prepare for your session. It will include ideas on what to wear, location selection, and hair and makeup. I want to make sure I listen to all of your ideas and any concerns, so I know what to expect and how to guide you through your session.
3. ask me Anything
Time to relax and let me work my magic! I always aim to keep sessions light hearted and FUN! Some adults are naturals in front of the camera and some are not. I'm prepared for both types! With guidance, I'll make you look natural and comfortable. I'll find that natural smile, give you a good variety of poses and angles, and create some movement.
Before you know it, we'll be all done and you'll feel like we just hung out, had a great time, and wandered around a cool location for a while. I'll always be working to make you look and feel your best!

Within two weeks of your session, you should receive a gallery of your edited images. At that time, you will be able to select and purchase your collections of images.

I like to keep this part simple. First, pay a non-refundable Session Fee to reserve your spot on my calendar exclusively for your session. This Session Feel compensates for my time and expertise, including consultation, planning, location selection, and editing.
Following the photography session, you'll receive access to a digital proof gallery showcasing your beautiful portraits. From there, you'll select and purchase a digital image collection choosing the images you love most. Message me for more details.
